You are magnetic.

What does that even mean?

It’s simple–your mind is your magnet. We all have our own magnets and each of our magnets attract positively or negatively depending on what they are made of or, “what they’re charged with.”

When you fill your mind with fear, complaints or hardships, your mind will draw in more of those things. However, when you fill your mind with love, gratitude and opportunity, you will see more of those things materialize into your life. Most of us would argue that we “know what we want” but the truth of the matter is that even if we do know what we want, the likelihood of expecting or anticipating it to come to fruition isn’t always easy or guaranteed.

Once you figure out what it is that you actually desire the world becomes a lot brighter. You have to change your mentality from desire to expectation. You can have anything you desire. Maybe you want something small like a free coffee before work, a call from your best friend across the country or to hear your favorite song on shuffle while you cruise PCH. Maybe you want something big that seems “impossible” like a major investor for your startup, a call from that agent you met with or the man of your dreams asking you to be his wife. Whatever it may be, big or small, the desire becomes the literal magnet and the expectation is its pulling force.

How do we keep our feet on the ground? Gravity. The way gravity pulls you in the physical realm is the same way expectation pulls you in the invisible realm. Expectation is the pulling force of the mind. Obviously, we all “want” and “desire” good throughout our lives but how often do you actually believe you’ll have it? Fuck, how often do you even believe you actually deserve all the “good” you dream about, all the good that you desire? When you expect for things to fall through or figure that your desires are too good to come true you are literally telling the universe not to deliver. Too often we expect what we don’t actually want. Often we draw conclusions for our future from our past so we jump the gun when it comes to things like getting ghosted (again) by another cute boy you’ve been talking to, a parking ticket or even a denial from that job you interviewed for.

Luckily for you though, now, you know the secret. It’s simple–do not expect things that you do not desire and don’t waste your energy desiring things that you don’t actually expect. When you expect things you don’t desire, you’re not only inviting the undesirable but you are literally attracting it, “pulling” it right into your reality. When you desire what you do not expect you’re simply wasting your own precious energy and completely disregarding the power of your mental force, your mind, your own “magnet.”

This is why it’s imperative you fully believe in yourself, your desires and the power of your mind or “magnet.” Once you realize your potential, power and pull, you will begin to tap into new levels of yourself and your reality. Consistently expecting the things you wholeheartedly desire strengthens the force of your “magnet” and your ability to attract becomes undeniable. Desire links you to what’s desired while expectation pulls it into your life–it’s literally a universal law. Google it: the law of attraction.
